Do you remember Courtney and Rich? We photographed their engagement session amongst the Christmas trees two years ago (can be seen
HERE) and then shot their most beautiful wedding (can be seen
HERE). When Courtney contacted me asking if I was available to do a session for them for their Christmas card this year, of course, I jumped at the opportunity.
We had big plans to do the session in a cotton field. As luck would have it, the fields of cotton had been freshly plowed when we arrived. And, it was blustery. It was a very blustery evening. In only a slightly panicked state of mind, I spotted an old wooden barn sitting next to a house. I thought it definitely couldn’t hurt to ask the owner if we could borrow the property for an hour to shoot….and it didn’t, as the property owner was just about the kindest man there ever was. And really, plan B turned out just lovely. The wind allowed the leaves to fall from the trees, creating a really magical feeling. I think I screamed at one point as I was shooting, it was so pretty.
I really, really like Courtney and Rich. Not only are they the cutest couple ever, they are the sweetest too. Being around them just feels very easy.
At the beginning of the session I caught wind (pun intended…ha!) that Courtney will soon be starting up her own interior design business, so I insisted we took a few head shots for her coming soon website. No doubt, she will successful…she is smart, has great style and is so kind. I can’t wait to see things take off for her. 🙂
Thank you, Courtney and Rich – love you guys!
Something about this….I really love it.
LOVE these!!! That black and white of them facing each other and holding hands blows my mind!! Beautiful work!
Gosh darn it. These might just be my most favorite couple photos you’ve ever ever taken. Holy crap.
