The Terrace at Cedar Hill Wedding – Stephanie + Josh

Stephanie and Josh’s wedding day was the perfect taste of fall with blue-filled sunny skies…it was such a nice break from what has been a brutal summer! With the ceremony at Calvary Church and the reception at the Terrace at Cedar Hill, it was the most beautiful day and we were so grateful to be a part. Here are just a few of our favorite things about and from their wedding day:

+ On the final countdown of wedding week, Stephanie and Josh were informed that their planned ceremony location – the sanctuary at Calvary Church – would not be ready in time due to renovations and that it would be moved to the chapel. While it wasn’t the original plan, it ended up offering the most intimate and romantic setting!

+ Their wedding day was also the day that Stephanie’s parents celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary, which was so special and brought about an extra level of love all around.

+ Just moments before Stephanie and her dad stepped onto the aisle to make their walk down toward Josh, he recited scripture to Stephanie to calm her nerves. With every word, you could see peace sweeping over her. It was such a sweet moment between the two of them. I just love photographing real moments like this!
