And that’s it! 2017 is a wrap! Katie and David’s Charleston, South Carolina wedding was the perfect one to close out another great wedding season….Erika and I were so grateful to photograph their day and celebrate with them. The ceremony took place at Grace Church Cathedral and was followed by a reception at the unique and beautiful Historic Rice Mill located right on the water. Here are just a few of my favorite things/parts of the day:

+ I loved so many things about their style. Her dress was classic, clean and stunning. He wore a blue and black tux, which I love! Her engagement ring was so unique and just gorgeous. And y’all….BLUSH VELVET SHOES. See all of these details below.

+ David wrote Katie the sweetest note that she opened prior to putting her gown on. Emotional moments like this one get me every time.

+ Shooting around Charleston always makes for the best day ever. If you’ve ever been there, you know that around every corner is a new nook with beautiful scenery. It never gets old and is always a dream to photograph.

+ The sunset. The only appropriate word for it is epic.
