Emily and Greg’s wedding in Charleston, South Carolina at the amazing, gorgeous, beautiful, unique Cannon Green was perfect to kick off our 2017 wedding season. Ever since meeting them at their engagement session, we have been anxiously awaiting their wedding day. And it didn’t disappoint. Not in the least. A kind, caring and in love (not to mention beautiful) couple…with sunny skies and welcomed temperatures…in Charleston. What more could we ask for? I’ve listed their vendor team below, but also wanted to share some of my favorite moments from/things about their day.
+ Y’all…it was a high of 80 degrees…in FEBRUARY!
+ Emily got ready at the Spectator Hotel downtown. Modern, simple, neutral decor with light pouring in through the windows. Photographer’s day made.
+ When Emily and I got near to the first look location to meet Greg and Geoff, she excitedly said, “I see him!!!”. It was precious to see how excited she was and how much she loves him. 🙂
+ They honored both of their fathers through a display of two candles on a pedestal and words from their officiant during the ceremony. Greg also carried his dad’s wedding ring that was engraved with he and his mom’s wedding date…2/1/76. So special.
+ Greg’s custom made suit was on point.
+ Emily and Greg are a beautiful couple with great style and are fun to photograph, but what I loved best about them were their hearts, personalities and love for each other. Their thoughtfulness blew me away when we checked into our hotel to find the most beautiful welcome gift waiting for us. Our hotel was outside of downtown Charleston (Mt. Pleasant, actually) and yet, they made the time to drive it out to leave it for us. For little old us. See? They are just plain wonderful.

Was so excited to read this post after seeing you all shot a wedding in Charleston! It got even better when I saw that the groom got his suit from my mom at Bruce Julian’s! You’re right, it is on point! Such a small world – and such a beautiful wedding!!
I love this, Eden! A small world indeed! And thank you for the sweet words. 🙂
