Stephanie and Matt were married at the end of May in Stephanie’s parent’s gorgeous home here in Charlotte. It was so very special for everyone. A few of my favorite moments from their wedding day:

+ Stephanie wore her mom’s necklace over her wedding gown. I always love it when a bride wears special pieces like this. And I just adored Stephanie’s dress. It’s so pretty, right?!

+ About 10 minutes before the ceremony, Stephanie had notes she had written delivered to her mom and dad. Watching them hold each other as they read her words to them was overwhelming…I may have teared up myself. And when they looked at me and said, “one day, your children will be at this point too”, forget about it. I was a mess. 🙂

+ Y’all these people are TOPS. Stephanie, Matt and her parents put SO much into the planning and into the home to get ready for the day. My heart sunk as the skies grew dark and opened up after the ceremony to pour down rain onto their outdoor reception and flooded the dance floor. But all we saw from them was smiles, laughter, good times and a “throw your shoulders up, it is what it is and we’re not going to let this ruin today” attitude. To not let their circumstances steal the joy of the day…the day that they all had looked forward to for so long…what an amazing and inspiring family.

Congratulations, guys! We have so enjoyed getting to know y’all and working with you. We hope that so much goodness will come your way through your marriage.
