It’s true!  We are excited to announce that we have an opening for the position of Studio/Personal Assistant.

 

First, a little about us.  

We are Cheyenne and Geoff – The Schultzes (not Love The Schultzes…just “The Schultzes :)…sorry, huge pet peeve).  We are a husband and wife photography team based in Charlotte, North Carolina.  We have two really cute kids – our son Boone (almost 4) and our daughter Crew (18 months).

We are passionate about both the business and the art of our company and desire to build it with intention and purpose.  Above all else, we desire is that it will glorify our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  As we near entering into 8th year of business, our mission stays the same: to create art that matters and to genuinely care for people.

A few of our favorite things: our church, fun outings with our kids on Fridays, drinking coffee, dates that begin with Godiva chocolates, watching the show “Parenthood” together on the couch, dancing/singing to Prince and chatting around a nice fire.

Responsibilities of the position:

We have structured the position to assist partly in the management of the business and partly to provide assistance in our daily life/personal tasks.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

+ Running personal and business errands

+ Scheduling appointments

+ Filing, placing print orders, keeping supplies stocked

+ Keeping the studio tidy (and the flowers alive!)

+ Packaging and shipping client gifts/product deliverables

+ Managing business Facebook account

+ Arranging travel details

+ Prepping/cleaning camera equipment prior to shoots/weddings

+ Managing submission processes for blog/magazine publication

+ Performing research and development for new business initiatives

 

Qualifications:

We are looking to add someone to our team that will be a “go-getter”, be capable of managing time well to handle multiple projects at once and be ready to hit the ground running from the beginning.  This person should be highly organized and have an extremely high attention to detail in all aspects of the position, as well as possess a creative mind.  Our newest team member should be professional, warm and friendly.  We are looking for someone that will have a great attitude and a cheerful heart; especially when doing menial tasks such as running an errand to the grocery store or tidying the studio.  Additionally, we would love for this person to not simply be a “task-doer”, but to consider themselves a true member of the team that will be invested in growing the company through contributing ideas and helping to solve problems.  This person should enjoy working hard and smart and be eager to learn and grow.

+ Must have at least a high school diploma

+ Must love dogs (especially three crazy ones)

+ Must love Starbucks (just kidding…kind of)

+ Must be relatively proficient in Microsoft Office, have at least a basic understanding of Photoshop and be great with social media

+ Must have an interest in photography and the wedding industry

+ A background in graphic design is a huge plus
