A few months ago I got an email from a photographer friend of mine –
Caroline Ghetes. She had shot Julie’s sisters wedding and had thought she recognized Julie from the
engagement session we had shot of her and Evan. Caroline told me that if that was, in fact, Julie, that Geoff and I were going to have a blast at their wedding. She couldn’t have been more right on the money…especially once we got to the reception. Seriously, the friends and family of this wedding were SO fun.
After the formalities had been taken care of, Julie and Evan blindfolded the bridal party and had the DJ announce that they were going to take part in a dancing contest. I don’t know what it is, but a dance contest is HILARIOUS when none of the participants can see anything. It was a great way to kick off the dancing.
And THEN (as you’ll see below), they busted out a bunch of BUBBLE guns. People LOVED it!
Reception venue – Mount Holly Citizen’s Center
Bride’s shoe clips – EWMcall on Etsy
Invitations – DIY
Ring bearer pillow – DIY
Ring bearer/Flower girl flags – DIY

The blindfolds…..amazing and hilarious.

Julie and Evan served up KRISPY KREMES as a favor….ummmmm….YES PLEASE!
Julie and Evan – again, thank you so much for having us as your wedding photographers. We were so blessed to have met you guys and worked with you. I hope we will keep in touch! xoxo.
