Help these pups find a forever home!

Weddings

It isn’t any secret that Geoff and I love dogs….especially dogs that need help.

Last night I got an email from a friend of mine looking for help to get these two sweet pups adopted.  She told me that she recently got a new set of neighbors in her neighborhood and that she had consistently noticed these two pups running around loose in the new neighbors front yard.  She decided to go down to talk to the neighbors, to which she came to understand that the puppies aren’t wanted by the “owners”.
Since then, my friend has been working to find a permanent, loving home for these dogs.  She has been calling local shelters, but so far, has had no luck.  This morning she went down to the neighbor’s house to drop off a crate and blankets for the puppies so they at least would have some shelter overnight – she found them huddled next to the side of the house eating green beans out of a can.  These dogs are not being taken care of properly and most certainly aren’t receiving the love that they deserve.
My friend is taking them to get their shots this coming weekend and will be fostering them until she can get them placed permanently.  I’m going to do any and everything in my power to get them into a great home.  And so, here are the details:
Location:
Charlotte, NC
Gender:
One girl (the pup on the left with the black face) and one boy (the pup on the right with the tan and white face)
Age:
Four months old
Breed:
Unknown, but some Rottweiler/some Shepherd

How big is the girl going to get? I want a bigger breed now and was just wondering! 🙂

    i love your heart.

  4. julie – i don’t think the “owners” really know how big she’ll get, as they don’t totally know what breed she is. If I had to guess, I would think with Rott and Shepherd in her, she’ll be a pretty good size.

OH NO! Great! Just remember how crazy your 3 make you now! I want the girl on the left! Maybe if you ship her to me…Fred wouldn’t notice just one more…
