We always love traveling to Charleston, SC for a great wedding.  Malissa and Dan’s wedding day at The Citadel Chapel and The Wickliffe House was no exception.  

All of the reception decor was GORGEOUS – such a treat to shoot!  And speaking of the reception……there were legitimate WEDDING CRASHERS there….Geoff was even talking with them before they were found out.  They ate the food, drank the drinks, and chatted it up with the guests.  After initially being busted and asked to leave, they decided to sneak upstairs and hide in the closet.  Seriously, who does that?  

Anyway….  🙂

I also have to mention one of my favorite parts of the reception….Malissa’s family has a tradition of writing a song for the newlyweds and singing it at the reception.  The song for Malissa and Dan was set to the ever popular Village People classic….YMCA.  Geoff and I now regularly sing the song to Boone……”Dan is her man (now he’s MISSY’S man!), Dan is her ma-an”.  Haha.
