Happy Valentine’s Day :)

The Schultzes

I have to say…I really like Valentine’s Day.

When I was little I was always looking forward to making my own Valentine’s cards out of construction paper and doilies.

And then, each year my mom would make me cupcakes to share with my classmates at school – strawberry flavored topped with vanilla frosting and conversation candy hearts.  I loved taking my cupcakes to school….that is, until I was a freshman in high school.
As a 13 year old, I was way too cool to haul a tray of cupcakes to school that my mommy had made me. Despite my refusal for the cupcakes, she insisted that I take them….she threatened me that she would show up in a clown costume to school to deliver them if I didn’t take them myself.  She totally would have if I wouldn’t have complied.
Anyway…this morning at 7am after I brought Boone into our room…Geoff awoke, rolled over to his nightstand and pulled out the most adorable card for me.  A great start to this Valentine’s Day.  🙂

I hope that you are all enjoying today.  I’ll leave you with this…..my husband….as cupid (this was for a promo for a contest we held on the blog two years ago – still cracks me up).
