Geoff and I have wanted to shoot a wedding at the
Dairy Barn in Fort Mill, SC for SO long, so we were beyond excited when Erin and Adam booked us to shoot their wedding there. I love a good rustic wedding. 🙂 Hoping to shoot more weddings there in the future!
They decided to do a “first look”, which is where we set it up to see each other before the ceremony. This allows for a lot more time to complete photos, as well as allows the couple to get to the reception quickly.
One of the most special parts of the day was during the ceremony – after Erin and Adam had said their vows to each other – Erin made a vow of commitment to Adam’s son, Layton. Before the wedding they had asked Layton what he wanted to symbolize the vow….he wanted a trophy. 🙂 And so, a trophy he got, which he proudly held over his head after receiving it. SUCH a cute kid.
Erin and Adam – thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of your wedding day…best of the best of wishes for your life together. 🙂
