Caroline and Brendan’s wedding day at
Grandfather Golf and Country Club was such a beautiful and special day and we were so very grateful to be a part of it. Here are just a few of my favorite things from the day.
+ When we first arrived, we were greeted with light rain, which threw a wrench in their plans for the outdoor ceremony. The ladies from
Callista Designs had already set up their florals for Plan A and were straight
hustling to move everything to the covered back-up location. I love seeing vendors behind the scenes working their tails off to make magic happen for our clients. And the flowers were nothing less than gorgeous to boot! Y’all, seriously. Look at Caroline’s bouquet in that first pic!
+ The rain cleared up in time for the ceremony and sun shone brightly for the rest of the day. I was so touched when Caroline and her family commented to each other that the sunshine was a gift from Caroline’s beloved late brother, Martin. His presence was certainly felt among everyone. These sweet friends and family have so much love for each other. No doubt one of the highlights of the day was when Caroline’s maid of honor, Cameron, surprised her with the most special of gifts for her bridal bouquet: a handkerchief with embroidery of a verse in remembrance of Martin. Photographing Caroline’s reaction was definitely one of my favorite moments from the day. See a few of the images below.
+ Y’all, the grounds of the club are bananas! So. Darn. Pretty. It was the perfect backdrop to photograph Caroline and Brendan together after the ceremony. These two are just the nicest and most laid back of couples…I loved getting to know them.
