Katie and Jesse’s wedding took place on a warm day in May on Lake Wylie. Threatening rain pushed the planned outdoor ceremony indoors, but it ended up being just beautiful and perfect for them. And thankfully so, as heavy rain was coming down outside as the ceremony began. The reception was poolside! Casual and absolutely gorgeous. A few of my favorite things from the day:

+ The inside of Jesse’s custom suit jacket was lined with pictures of the two of them. So fun and so sweet.

+ Katie’s first look with her dad was filled with so much emotion. Definitely a favorite moment from the day!

+ Post ceremony and after family pictures had completed, Katie and Jesse took a sunset boat cruise around Lake Wylie. It was such a nice time for them to get to spend some time together before the reception began and allowed me to get some nice portraits of them together.
