I don’t think I could have asked for a kinder, gracious or more “go with the flow” couple then Hillary and Will….especially being that their plan for an outdoor wedding ceremony at Morning Glory Farm was compromised when we had a steady misting of rain throughout the whole day. Y’all, this couple is TOPS and we were just so grateful to photograph their wedding! A few of my favorite things about the day:

+ I feel like this goes without being said, but…Hillary’s blush dress! Y’all know I am obsessed with soft shades of blush as it is…but when you put it on a wedding gown? I’m over the top in love.

+ The bridal suite at the farm is breathtaking. Y’all have no idea how grateful I was for this space on their day, as we were able to do the majority of the pre-ceremony portraits (including the first look) all inside and STILL achieve bright, light and beautiful photographs.

+ Erika caught one of the best moments of the day. Arm and arm with her dad, Hillary took a deep breath before going down the aisle to meet Will. I’m sure it was filled with all of the feelings…joy, excitement, nervousness. I live for these emotional moments on a wedding day.

+ Hillary and Will were willing to step out into the blueberry bushes at the farm during a break in the rain for some portraits and then again in the woods before heading into the reception. Sure, it was wet and maybe even a little muddy….but if you ask me, it was worth it!

+Donuts, y’all. In lieu of cake, they served DONUTS. A note to all of the engaged people reading this….donuts are always a great idea.

+ We worked alongside of some of the best that day! Everyone gave it all they had to help pull off a beautiful, memorable and heartfelt wedding day for Hillary and Will.

Congratulations, guys! We are so happy for y’all and wish you so much happiness in your new married life together!
