This past Saturday, Francesca and Alex were married in Uptown Charlotte at the Foundation for the Carolinas. Albeit slightly cold, it was the most beautiful day with the best of people. A few of my favorite parts of the day included:
+ We started things off at the newly opened The Ivey’s Hotel, which was simply amazing. I need to find an excuse to stay there! The detail throughout was remarkable.
+ We did all of our pre-ceremony portraits on the terrace at FFTC, which I happen to love, as it offers both an option of the green “living wall” and the neutral backdrop of the city.
+ The look on Alex’s face when Francesca was coming down the aisle. This moment never gets old for me.
+ I know this might be a little random, but I just loved Francesca’s mom’s gown! At the end of the evening I told her that when it’s my turn to be mother of the bride, I’m going to wear a dress just like hers. 🙂 She was stunning. And not to mention, the sweetest lady.
+ The whole day just felt relaxed and was so enjoyable…no doubt it was because of Francesca and Alex. They are so easy to be around. 🙂
Congratulations, guys! We wish y’all the best for everything that is ahead! xoxo.
