Guys…it’s NOVEMBER! Gosh, I love November. Mostly because of turkey day. For us, our Thanksgiving goes a little something like this: bundle up, parade uptown, hot chocolate and lattes from starbucks and a visit to one of our favorite parks near an old house we used to live in years ago, naps, reading, playing outside, food (usually most of it is from the hot bar at Whole Foods!), making M&M Christmas cookies and ending the evening in PJ’s watching Elf. I was feeling all excited and nostalgic and pulled up this old video from Boone’s first Thanksgiving – he was just three months old. Goodness, times have changed!
Things to look forward to in November (besides the Thanksgiving festivities!):
+ Rest and business planning mountain retreat with dear friends – Grandview Vacay 4.0! See Year One – 2014, Year Two – 2015 (apparently I didn’t blog from last year’s trip – boo.)
+ ATTEND a wedding!
+ Speak to the “Issues of Contemporary Photography” students at App State…we look forward to this day every year
+ Decorate for Christmas! After Thanksgiving. Naturally. 🙂
And my goals for the month:
Personal – November
+ Order another yearly family album (hence the above picture) from Artifact Uprising. I am in catch up mode for making these – I have three created so far and many more to go.
+ Sell furniture items in my garage. This is staying from last month.
+ Finish Chasing Slow, find frames for my hallway photo project, read my Autumn Magnolia Journal, figure out how recover my pillows using a no-sew method. All on here from last month. :/
Business – November
+ Utilize blogging calendar to get caught up with sharing 2017 client work.
+ Design and print consultation folder inserts.
+ Order and prep client holiday gifts.
+ Plan for our holiday print sale for 2017 clients.
+ Host a webinar for a teaching all about client gifting! One of my favorite topics. 🙂 Stay tuned for details.
+ Complete the email list course I purchased at the beginning of this year.
