About us.
We are Cheyenne and Geoff – The Schultzes.  We are a husband and wife photography team based in Charlotte, North Carolina.  We have two {really, really cute} children: our three-year-old son {Boone} and our eight-month-old daughter {Crew}.  We also have three (you read right…THREE) dogs {Frank, Jazzy and Ellen}.  
We are passionate about both the business and the art of our company and desire to build it with intention and purpose…a business that above all else will glorify our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  After six years in business, our main focus is to create art that really matters and to genuinely care for the people that have been brought our way.  
A few of our favorite things are: our church, going on fun outings with our kids on Friday Family Day, drinking coffee, dates that begin with Godiva chocolates, watching the show “Parenthood” together on the couch on Thursday evenings, dancing/singing to Prince songs and chat around a nice fire.  
This is a part-time position, in which we are hoping to find someone interested in joining our team long-term.  
+ Start date: position to begin immediately
+ Location: our home based studio is located in Southpark, Charlotte
+ Schedule: 10-15 hours per week depending on season/needs.  2-3 days/week (weekdays only, as the studio is closed Friday-Sunday)
+ Compensation: position will begin under a 90-day probationary period starting at $10/hour
The available position is structured partly to assist in the upkeep and management of the studio for the business.  The other is providing assistance in daily life/personal tasks.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Running personal and business errands and assisting in tasks
+ Scheduling appointments
+ Filing, placing print orders and managing client online galleries
+ Packaging, shipping and stocking supplies for client gifts/product deliverables
+ Managing business social media accounts
+ Keeping the studio tidy
+ Arranging travel/accommodations
+ Performing research and development for new business initiatives
+ Cleaning and preparing equipment prior to shoots/weddings
The person that we choose to add to our team will be a “go-getter”, be capable of managing time well to handle multiple projects at once and be ready to hit the ground running from the beginning.  He/she will be organized and have a high attention to detail in all aspects of the position, as well as possess a creative mind.  This person will be professional, warm and friendly.  We are looking for someone that will have a great attitude and a cheerful heart…even when doing menial talks such as running an errand to the grocery store or in tidying up the office.  At the same time, we would love for this person to not simply be a “task-doer”, but to consider themselves as a true team member who will be invested in growing the company through contributing ideas and helping to solve problems.  He/she should enjoy working hard and smart and be eager to learn and grown.
+ You must have at least a high school diploma
+ You must love dogs (even when they are really crazy)
+ You must love Starbucks (just kidding…kind of)
+ You must be relatively proficient in Microsoft Office, have at least a basic understanding of Photoshop and be great at using Social Media
+ You must have an interest in photography and the wedding industry
+ Having a background in graphic design is a big plus
