Grove Park Inn wedding – Jenny and Joel
Jenny and Joel were married on October 1st at the Grove Park Inn in Asheville, NC. It was SUCH a pleasure to shoot this wedding.
First of all, if you’ve never been to the Grove Park Inn Spa….you must. I’m certain I have raved about it on this blog before….it is IN-CREDIBLE. Jenny and Joel didn’t have the chance to visit the spa (it’s not like they were busy that weekend or anything π ), but I told them they HAVE to go back for their first year anniversary. Seriously, going to this spa is hands down one of Geoff and I’s favorite things to do. In fact, we have vowed to revisit once per year. It is such a great chance to unplug and just completely be.
Secondly, I love Jenny and Joel. You will too after you see the pictures below and how much they love each other.

No…I take it back….THIS was my favorite moment of the day. After Jenny and Joel “sent-off”, we went to the front of Grove Park for a few final photos of the two of them together. As I took this picture, the emotion between them was really special….I heard Joel whisper to Jenny….”I’m so happy.” Maybe you had to be there, but man…I just got choked up again remembering that. πCongratulations, Jenny and Joel. Thank you so very much for allowing us the opportunity to photograph your wedding day. We wish you so so so much happiness as you begin your life together.
