What a delight this wedding was to shoot! I couldn’t help but be a little nervous, as the bride herself is a photographer out of Georgia (you can check her work out HERE
). We couldn’t asked for a more sweet and in love couple to photograph.
There were so many great moments on this day….the heartfelt (and tearful!) vows, the CUTEST little girl dancing side to side to the post-ceremony music, Melissa taking her grandmother’s hand (who has limited vision) for her to feel where her own brooch rested on the bouquet….I could go on and on. I left this wedding feeling so emotionally full!
Not to mention that there was detail upon gorgeous detail to shoot. Melissa and Ryan put so much into their wedding day – many of the details you’ll see below are of Melissa’s own doing…including the many, many, MANY colored pom poms the guests threw at them on their walk back down the aisle. Love it!
I so love these four shots of the progression of Ryan’s expression as he caught sight of Melissa coming down the aisle. 🙂
Thank you, God, for the beautiful beam of light perfectly cast on the ceremony garden.
I would be lying if I said I didn’t get a little choked up myself while listening to their vows.
Here is the sweetest, cutest, pudgiest little girl that I told you about…swaying side to side to the sound of the music. My heart about exploded.
And here is Melissa directing her grandma to feel her brooch that belonged to her….this moment really got me.
It’s so nice to photograph fellow wedding photographers who know the importance of being given ample time for bride/groom portraits…we were given more than 30 minutes of time with just the two of them to wander around the gardens for pictures. Thank you, Melissa. 🙂
Bella and Sadie made a special appearance on the wedding day for a couple pictures with mom and dad.
Congratulations, Melissa and Ryan! Thank you for being such wonderful people and for creating such a beautiful wedding day for us to photograph. 🙂 xoxo.
So beautiful! I love the way you photograph weddings 🙂
wow, i’m in love!
Great to relive that day again – it was indeed a ridiculously beautiful and wonderful occasion! Congrats to Melissa and Ryan!
Yay! Love these! Great job and congrats to Melissa and Ryan!
Can’t get over all that glowing sunlight! Too beautiful, Cheyenne.
Her details are amazing! Great job!
Just beautiful….wish I could have been there in person but this is the next best thing!
Beautiful photography, Cheyenne & Geoff, thank you. You nailed it when you spoke of the emotion concerning Melissa’s grandmother (Nana, my mother, 95 years young!). Can’t wait to see the rest of the photos of this wonderful union. Thank you again!
Love the yellow wall, the pom poms, the light, the coupled garden shots, etc. etc!!!!! Beautiful, Melissa :). And big ups to Cheyenne and Geoff – looking forward to the photo booth shots!
I can’t stop looking at these… pretty much sums it up. 🙂 THANK YOU!
AAAMAAAAZING! Such beautiful photos – most beautiful wedding I’ve ever been a part of. Now, I think Bella and Sadie should have gotten some reception time – I didn’t get to see them. :)))
Wow! These are gorgeous! I love the creamy light. What on earth were the guests throwing during the recessional? Amazing job, once again!
I’m still so sad I missed. I LOVED looking at these photos. Looked like a fantastic day full of love, beauty and downright fun. Congrats to you two again. xx
Melissa, you were an incredibly beautiful bride! Amazing images to capture such a special day!
Awesome photography! Really enjoyed these photos. It’s obvious an extreme amount of planning went into every detail.
Such a great shoot. One thing I am enjoying about your work is the uncluttered feel. Simple, beautiful work. Great.
I seriously just keep coming back to look at this post again and again. Stunning work, you guys!
I am loving that you took these pictures! I fell in love with some photos that Melissa had taken herself, but I love that she trusted you guys as I am also just as in love with viewing your blog!
