Oh, how I wish I had more time to blog.Β
February was a complete whirlwind….Boone was sick most of the month AND we managed to move into a new house. Β Let me tell you – packing, moving and unpacking (which is only about 35% done) with a six month old…..not to mention, a SICK six month old….is no joke. Β I’m tired just talking about it. Β
Obviously, I’m way late in posting my March goals. Β Oh well…I’m okay with it.
________________________________________________________________
And so, here is where I landed for February:
Β 1. Β Complete outstanding editing.Β More or less, this was completed.
2. Β Keep my inbox down to 10 or fewer emails before going to sleep at night. Β HA! Β I probably accomplished this 5 times out of the month. Β It was a nice idea.
3. Β Move into our new place. Β Done.
4. Β Secure Boone’s nanny. Β This has proven to be much more difficult than I thought. Β We’re still looking.
5. Β Start Boone’s baby book. Β I feel like a terrible mother…..
6. Β Buy our plane tickets for our trip to California in April. Β Done…can’t wait for a visit.
Here’s the game plan for the remaining weeks I have in March:
1. Β Completely finish unpacking.
2. Β Hit up my new neighborhood for a power walk (with Boone in tow, of course) at least three times a week.
3. Β Get all info needed to our accountant for our taxes. Β Ugh….this is a tall order.
4. Β Finish reading
Eclipse. Β I read about 1/2 a chapter a night before I go to sleep, so it is taking me forever.
5. Β Plan our mini-vacay while in California for my 30th birthday. Β Yes….30. Β I’ll refrain from any further comments in effort to not be dramatic about this fact.

And I’m sorry…..but is my kid a nut, or what? Β Love this boy. Β π
oh my goodness he’s so cute. I love that face he’s making in the second to last picture!! and if you need a nanny, I’m still here π
he has the prettiest eyes!!
CHEY!!! Boone is ttttoooooooo cute!!!! That smile can just melt your heart!!! Don’t feel bad about the whole baby book thing… just keep taking pictures and keeping them filed… you’ll find time “someday” to put it all together… well, I tell you this hopefully since my oldest is still only 4-months-old in his baby book (he’ll be 6 in two weeks) and my little man (now 4) has his name on the cover of his book! π
Starting my own March goals this month! Just had to comment that your son is TOO precious in this post!!!!
the second to last picture of Boone looks just like Geoff in the header picture. funny. I guess you know where he gets that expression from. lol My little one is 8 months and has 8 teeth! I wish she had a gummy smile like Boone still for many reasons.
Brad and I have genuine belly laughs every time you post pics like this of Boone!
LOVE! What a big boy! miss you guys.
how in the world do you get him to make that face? adorable, i could eat him!
Soooo adorable!! I can’t believe he is 6 months old already!! That first shot is SO sweet! And I am in LOVE with this sweater blanket, I’ve been looking for one for a while and I’m dieing over this one!
Two great things about March….(1)cold & flu season will end which should give our babies a break and (2)the time change on Sunday will give us another hour of daylight in the evening which gives more time for power walks. Better days ahead friend! π
Um, this child IS mini-geoff. So adorable. Love watching him grow, Cheyenne. Hope we can get together sometime soon!
Amazing eyes and a precious gummy smile. What a cutie!
He is the cutest thing I have ever seen!
So adorable. I just want to hug him!

Boone is too cute… and it’s so funny to see his gummy mouth. (I forgot what a toothless mouth looks like.) Pretty soon it will be filled with little chompers!! π

Your kid needs to be on some type of baby commercial because he is so funny and cute!
Is that drool coming out of his mouth in the first photo? hilarious. i think i need to give you that blanket cause he looks so dang cute with it.

2. MUST HAVE THAT BLANKET—seriously, it belongs in my bedroom—is it hand made or did you purchase it somewhere
3. Scrapbooking will come—may I suggest Project Life by Becky Higgins—I’ve tried scrapbooking/baby books in every way possible and I LOVE THIS—it makes it doable—the guilt is gone because you’re getting it done! Check it out: and no, I’m not paid to advertise for her—I just LOVE IT!!!

What a funny expression. Too cute! I found your website from twitter.
Let me know if you’re still looking for a nanny. I have a friend that lives in Charlotte. She’s a college student and has been looking for some work. She could probably help you out.
